Puppies are born deaf. Their ears don’t open until around 3 weeks old, but we don’t wait until then. We begin with vibration-based exposure—like rhythmic movement, floor tapping, and soft background noise—so their little bodies can feel the world in a calm, consistent way before they even register sound.

Once their ears open, we gradually introduce real-world sounds in short, safe, positive sessions. And this week’s soundtrack includes:

• Fireworks

• Thunder

• Barking Dogs

• Fire alarms

• Train horns

• Truck engine starting

• Dropped bowls & clattering metal

• Busy parking lots

Golden Retrievers are known for their loyalty, empathy, and people-pleasing nature, but that also means they’re naturally sensitive. Without intentional early exposure, they will often develop:
